Reduced A300/767/757 feedstock, and several A330 & A321 cargo conversion programmes ‘in-waiting’, mean many are poised to write the ‘epitaph’ for the legacy freighters. Yet high levels of robustness and comparatively low levels of utilisation mean the ageing types have the potential to remain active, and be converted, for many years to come.
