Replacing the DC-9 & 737-200, Issue 9 Jan/Feb 2000

Some airlines have long since replaced their DC-9 & 737-200 fleets, while
others still acquire more. Seven aircraft families stand as potential
replacements, but only certain economic and operational circumstances
make a case for displacing the die-hard narrowbody workhorses.
