United Express invests in hydrogen-electric propulsion, Issue 138 Oct/Nov 2021

United Airlines has invested in hydrogen-electric engines for a programme that will potentially re-engine 50 CRJ-500s as an initial project. United has invested in a stake in Zero-Avia, which is developing which is developing fuel cell technology to develop a new propulsion system that will have zero CO2 emissions.
