US majors slowly recover post 9/11, Issue 24 Aug/Sep 2002

US domestic traffic has recovered slowly, and low-cost carriers have increased their share of total RPMs at the expense of the majors. The recovery in airline traffic is hampered by the weak US economy and business traffic.
