The equipping of aircraft to provide passengers with WiFi and cellular signals in the cabin is gathering pace. Airlines are beginning to determine the revenue that can be generated from the use of in-flight mobile phones and the internet. Aircraft connectivity also has financial benefits for flight operations and maintenance & engineering departments.
