Aircraft returned to service – and what’s left to be reactivated, Issue 138 Oct/Nov 2021

In the four months to October 2021, airlines put 115 large RJs, 810 narrowbodies and 215 widebodies back into service, taking the total active jetliner fleet to 18,640. There were still more than 3,700 aircraft in storage, equal to 18% of the January 2020 active fleet.
