737NG airframe & component maintenance costs analysis, Issue 58 June/July 2008

Boeing designed the 737NG with the ability for operators to create their own maintenance programmes from the 1,100 or so task cards which have intervals specified in FH, FC and calendar times. The result is an aircraft with lean maintenance requirements, and low base check inputs and reserves.
