Airline & Aerospace MRO & Flight Operations IT Conference

AMERICAS
Conference sponsors:

Welcome

We are delighted to welcome you back to the Airline & Aerospace MRO & Flight Operations IT Conference – Americas 2023.

In the past year, we have seen that digital and paperless processes, once considered ‘nice to have’, are now ‘must have’ business priorities. IT is unarguably the beating heart of a modern airline and the key to understanding how the business works. The safety and efficiency benefits to be gained from digital and paperless processes as well as the collection and application of data with integrated and enhanced IT platforms are clear for airlines, operators and MROs: the challenge is in unlocking those benefits.

Fuel prices remain high and the sector faces personnel shortages in key groups such as engineers and pilots. It is not only recruitment but also training and compliance with ever-evolving regulatory regimes that add up to a complex matrix of demands and requirements to be satisfied when flying in the commercial market. That makes it more important than ever for airlines, operators and MROs to use the most modern IT solutions to be efficient, agile, flexible and fast as possible, and prepared for whatever the future holds.

With a record number of leading software and hardware vendors in the sold-out Exhibition Hall, attendees will enjoy unprecedented opportunities to meet vendors, discuss their own challenges and priorities, and see demos of the latest and leading digital solutions. Airlines and MROs who have already embraced digitization, implementing new and modern IT solutions, will share their experiences in the conference agenda, plus there will be the established line-up of industry experts, vendor showcases, workshops, and more to help you unravel and understand a changing world and the opportunities for airlines, operators and MROs that embrace an IT driven future.

We look forward to seeing you in Miami in September.

We make operational efficiency fly – save up to 4% fuel with PACE EFB applications
Our operational efficiency management solutions are based on the unique ability to determine the most cost-efficient, or ECON, trajectory for a specific set of flight conditions, which then serves as a point of reference for economic decisions on board as well as statistical analysis on the ground.

The leading application for EFB-based vertical flight profile optimization, Pacelab Flight Profile Optimizer complements the functional scope of current on-board technology and offers significantly higher fuel-saving potential than the flight management system alone. Calculations with Pacelab Flight Profile Optimizer are based on the best available performance data (first-principles data) and live WX and aircraft data. The software continuously determines the most cost-efficient flight trajectory for the remaining route to destination and supplies an adjusted cost index which can be fed to the FMS. Constraints provided with the briefing package are respected automatically. With the ECON trajectory as a reference, Pacelab Flight Profile Optimizer is able to pinpoint the available cost savings potential for every instant of the flight, giving concise information about fuel burn, overall cost and delay; the latter provides additional support for managing on-time performance.

Get the most out of your fleet – with Pacelab Mission Suite: Route and aircraft mission analysis software
An additional component of the PACE operations productivity catalog is Pacelab Mission Suite. Pacelab Mission Suite (PLMS) is an integrated software solution which supports stra-tegic and tactical statistical analysis of an aircraft’s enroute performance and economics.
PLMS allows the customer to tailor the analysis of payload-range and mission efficiency to the airlines specific business practices and economic models. In addition to route-by-route analysis; PLMS has the power to conduct “what if” analysis of an entire route structure with a single “click”. This is all done within a robust and proven software environment.
Our EFB and aircraft performance solutions will be presented live at our booth. For more detailed information, please get in touch with Oliver Späth (oliver.spaeth@txtgroup.com) or visit our website at www.pace.de.

Complete Suite for Airline Operations
Many organizations make do with an assortment of homegrown and off-the-shelf software that completes one function in their operation but doesn’t communicate with other systems without a lot of file sharing, APIs, or error-prone manual labor.

eTT’s SkedFlex Air Operations Suite is a comprehensive, flexible, and easy to use aviation management software suite that provides the operations systems needed without unnecessary overhead and expense. Our suite includes Flight and Crew Management (FCMS), Flight Planning, and Maintenance Tracking (MISA) to fulfill the needs of your airline operations.

Streamlined Processes
The SkedFlex Suite standardizes, streamlines, and integrates business processes across the various departments and functional areas within the company. This integration improves the bottom line, while providing employees a user-friendly and consistent application experience across the whole organization.

As a cloud deployed solution, SkedFlex requires little support from IT as there is no need for on-site installation or maintenance. The system is setup with a production and a quality assurance environment allowing operators to test and experiment freely outside the production environment. This structure is perfect for a geographically diverse organization and even flexible working environments for airline employees – continuing our tradition of improving the quality of life for airline professionals.

Real-Time Reporting
For management, eTT Aviation’s integration means access to real-time, comprehensive, and relevant information you can trust from a single system rather than from disparate sources.

FCMS
SkedFlex FCMS is a modern, sophisticated system for operating an airline safely and efficiently under multiple regulatory rulesets in the US such as 14 CFR parts 117, 121, and 135 and in Canada under CARs 703, 704 and 705. The SkedFlex Flight & Crew Management System offers the tools to manage complicated scheduling and tracking qualifications, currencies, flight time, duty time and rest, all while providing our customers with First Class Customer Support.

Flight Planning
SkedFlex Flight Planning is a Next-generation Flight Planning System composed of a cloud-based flight planning engine and a configurable Flight Planning and Dispatch client application. A cloud-based Hub using industry-standard Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) serves as the integration point with third-party services and other operating systems. Use all the components as a complete system or choose the flight planning engine to power your client application.

MISA
eTT Aviation’s SkedFlex Management Information System for Aviation (MISA) provides aviation companies with comprehensive tools to manage its business, including accounting, maintenance, inventory, flight operations, employee training, human resources, payroll, technical publications, Government contract management, and flight school operations.

Apps today assume data lives only in one place, typically a singular cloud database. But the reality is far more complex. A combination of the rapid growth of mobile or other edge devices and global cloud infrastructure, means applications need to store and process data everywhere. If data is inaccessible, critical processes break down, and low-latency experiences quickly turn into lengthy loading screens. Ditto’s Intelligent Edge Platform enables data anywhere, always.

The Ditto Platform provides a distributed database that runs anywhere, from edge devices to the cloud, enabling real-time, flexible, peer-to-peer data distribution. This is especially powerful in areas of limited, or no, connectivity, such as airplanes, hangars, and on the tarmac, internet access is not reliable, making it extremely difficult for electronic flight bag (EFB) and other in-flight information to be quickly shared. With Ditto, Logipad can now offer a unique solution that allows all briefing data and eForms to be prefilled and synchronized in real time.

Come by our stand for a live demonstration of our data platform. We’ll show you how your existing apps and processes, such as our with Logipad on EFB, can utilize Ditto’s Intelligent Edge Platform to sync in real-time, even without any internet.

INNOVATE THE COCKPIT WITH TAILLOG

By eliminating the physical paperwork on both and in air, TAILLOG bridges the digital gap between pre- and post-flight activities. Through simplified, intuitive, and interactive design, the application enables the pilots to manage their pre-briefing, OFP, NavLog, fuel checks, and last minute changes while having easy access to flight details, company documents, weather charts, and NOTAMS. Ultimately, human errors will be eliminated and time consuming data management is minimized as the entire organization will benefit from multiple processes being built into the app, e.g. fuel slip management, post-flight reporting (fuel consumption, crew times and delay codes), digital journey logs, and cloud storage of completed flight logs. Utilizing cloud systems creates a data base which ensures both user flexibility, data safety, and interface options. With the cloud API both pre-flight planning, scheduling, and performance systems as well as post-flight management systems can easily be interfaced and subsequently be updated with flight details post-flight if required.

FEATURED MODULES:
Our embedded weight & balance module enables the pilot to make last minute changes of crew and PAX seating, baggage/cargo weights, and fuel load, and quickly review the consequences in the CG envelope graph and Load Manifest. Should any limits be exceeded, the pilot will be notified through alerts and colored markings of the related data fields. In-air rerouting utilizes either coordinates or pre-loaded company waypoints to deviate from the scheduled route string. The checklist module increases the flexibility of including and controlling all procedures, including journey logs, captain’s reports, engine trend monitoring and aircraft / company specific checklists. Our new TechLog feature equips the pilots with an option to log discrepancies, including pictures, that delivers an overview of the fleet health status in our backend / admin site and can be distributed directly to a CAMO or MCC department post flight. To add a safety layer during parking, TAILLOG has a security seal log function that secures the aircraft via sealed barcodes and managed directly in the application.

In the pursuit of becoming completely digital, TAILLOG teamed up with DuaLeap who developed an innovative data compression platform that offers real-time streaming of aircraft-related data. Already utilizing flight planning data for the operational flight plan functions, our joint solution can for instance enable real-time rerouting paths for optimal fuel consumption, as well as weather avoidance. In essence, our EFB will be connected in flight for accurate fuel and time monitoring, to name a few, allowing the pilots to focus on flying whilst being “truly” connected to flight-ops during the entirety of the flight.
Finally, our application is very customizable, meaning it can be slimmed if necessary, or conversely it can be further tailored specifically to replicate your current standard operating procedures.. Our users are our eyes and ears, inspiring us to improve and enhance continuously by, for example, implementing user-driven innovations such as Bluetooth synchronization, dark and landscape mode to name a few.

We ARE the team, and we HAVE the seasoned PROFESSIONALS and expertise you are looking for. We also HAVE the TECHNOLOGY!

Our ATeam Partners have spent their careers as airline TechOps and Operations business professionals. We now lead highly effective teams who are ready to help you. We have a deep bench of experienced PEOPLE. We augment your team or just run the projects for you and get it DONE!

YES! We help with IT product selection.

YES! We lead MRO and Operations business improvements and IT systems implementations.

YES! We do business process development, upgrades, testing, & training.

BUT WAIT… there’s more… 😊

Really, we are very different than other consultants. We have negotiated leading MRO and Operations software licensing (for decades), we work with ALL the systems, we have our own SECURE cloud environments for hosting, reporting and BI tools, we do SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, DaaS, FaaS and XaaS (it’s not what you think!). Many of these models are now commonplace and saving organizations LOTS of money. Let us introduce you to the CLOUD. We also have ongoing BUSINESS technical support to help the smallest to largest operators. We’re not your average help desk.

We also do A LOT the dirty work. We’re not scared, and we roll up our sleeves to achieve YOUR aerospace technology goals. We box dive in records for AIRCRAFT EIS/conformity, WE DO the data entry in your system, our A&Ps validate ADs, and we’ve counted and completed LOTS of physical inventories in warehouses. AND TRAINING! Did we mention everyone needs to be trained? We can help with some of the best train-the-trainer programs in the industry. Then, we give you the training materials.

In fact, we’re much like you and your circle of trusted friends in the industry. We are all entrepreneurs who like to solve problems. Some of us thought we wanted to retire, some of us are tired of working for big companies, but we’re all having fun, working hard together, solving problems (ok challenges…) in aerospace. We have mechanics, pilots, dispatchers, data entry clerks, C-suite business professionals, CHROs, PhDs, and CAMO post holders on the ATeam! We’re an effective team of industry veterans blended with smart, highly motivated young professionals. We have very little overhead and like to have fun helping you be successful in this otherwise very painful space. We’re affordable and deliver HUGE value.

Oh, and WE’RE HIRING! If you, or someone you know, likes our model, and want to join the ATeam, PLEASE come by and introduce yourself. We have a great network have helped with staffing too.

Please stop by our Aero ATeam table by the registration desk and meet some of the Aero ATeam professionals. Let’s talk about how we can help YOUR ATeam. We’re glad to meet you!
