Comparing operating cost performance of the A320 & 737NG families, Issue 15 Feb/Mar 2001

Fleet planning has been transformed by aircraft families. The relative
differences in operating costs of competitors is not enough to indicate
which is a better fleet choice. Gross profit derived from passenger
revenues analysed for each family as a whole for different operating cost
conditions is analysed for the A320 family and 737NG/757-200 mix.
