Airlines have a choice of a mixed 787/777 fleet or the A350 family when selecting 220- to 360-seat aircraft. The all-new A350 offers extensive commonality and lower fuel burn than the older 777. The 787 has several attractive features, including an extensive use of carbon fibre, that have helped it with the majority or orders.
