Aircraft deliveries in 2002 are relatively high, despite the traffic downturn.
Airlines’ own ability to finance aircraft is weak, finance leases are in further
decline and debt financing terms are harder than normal. Capital markets
and operating leasing will have to finance a high portion of deliveries.
